Custom Animal Portraits

One of the best parts of Journeys Art is creating custom portraits of furry loved ones. Much care is taken to create beautiful drawings that will be cherished for years to come.

This is what you can expect from Journeys Art:

Portraits are hand-drawn from your photograph(s) using colored pencils, pastels and/or watercolor. Photo(s) will be reviewed for usability upon receipt.

Portraits measure 8x10 unless otherwise specified.

Initial layout will be sent for your approval.

Progress Proof is sent at the halfway point for your review.

Finished Proof is sent for your final approval prior to final payment.

Once approved, final payment is required prior to mailing.

Depending on your preference, the portrait is either mailed in a frame or a mat for your framing.

A Custom order is a three-step process.

Initial Request - Once your request is received, you will receive an email requesting your photo(s) for review. This step will ensure that your photo(s) is usable to create a successful drawing. This step is provided free of charge.
50% Deposit - Once the photo and layout is agreed upon, a 50% deposit is required to begin your portrait.
Final Payment - The final payment is required prior to mailing. At this point, you would have received a progress proof and a finished proof for approval.
