Custom Animal Portraits

One of the best parts of my work is creating custom portraits of flurry loved ones. Much care is taken to create beautiful drawings to be cherished for years to come.

This is what you can expect:

Portraits are hand-drawn from your photograph(s) using colored pencils, acrylics, pastels and/or watercolor. Photo(s) will be reviewed for usability upon receipt.

Portraits measure 8x10 unless otherwise specified.

Initial layout will be sent for your approval.

Progress Proof is sent at the halfway point for your review.

Finished Proof is sent for your final approval prior to final payment.

Once approved, final payment is required prior to mailing.

Portrait is mailed unframed sandwiched in cardboard to protect from damage.

A Custom order is a three-step process.

Initial Request - Email photos for review. This step will ensure that your photo(s) is usable to create a successful drawing. This step is provided free of charge.
30% deposit - Once the photo and layout are agreed upon, a 30% nonrefundable deposit is required to begin your portrait.
Final Payment - The final payment is required prior to mailing. At this point, you would have received a progress proof and a finished proof for approval.

Commission Agreement
